One fixed amount for sending the truck and hooking the car up, the same at every hour. A dispatcher taking the call makes it $149; entering it yourself on the booking page makes it $129. It covers a wheel-lift or a flatbed for a car, SUV or pickup. Vans, box trucks and buses need a bigger truck and are quoted on their own.
The mileage
A per-mile rate from where the car sits to where it is going. Inside Newark or into a bordering town it is a short figure. The shore, New York or another state becomes a long distance tow quoted with tolls and the return run included.
Fleet and shop accounts

A broker does not own a truck, so the broker does not know what the truck will charge. The figure you hear is a guess designed to win the call.

Is $149 the whole price of a tow with your company?
It is the booking fee, covering the truck reaching you and the hook-up. Mileage to your destination is added and quoted before dispatch. There is no other standard line.
Why is it $129 online?
Booking yourself saves the dispatcher's time and you keep the $20. On a live road, call; the phone is quicker.
Do fleets get a different rate?
Fleets and shops get a rate sheet, scheduled windows and one monthly invoice. Ask dispatch to open an account.
Do you charge more at night or on holidays?
No. The same company staffs nights, so the booking fee and the mileage rate are identical at every hour of the year.
Do you charge storage?
Not on a car delivered to your garage, dealer or driveway, which is where our tows end. We do not run a storage lot.
Can I get a receipt for insurance or a roadside plan?
Yes. Every job comes with an itemized receipt in the company's name showing the booking fee, the miles and any recovery work.
